Good morning! It’s Wednesday, January 15th, and let’s get this blog rolling. DJ plays that music. It’s a good morning for some Pearl Jam
Scott Galloway
Scott Galloway is a prominent professor of marketing at NYU Stern School of Business, best-selling author, and successful entrepreneur. He is known for his incisive analysis of technology, business, and society, often providing insights into the impact of major tech companies on our lives and the economy. In addition to his academic work, Galloway is a popular speaker and commentator, sharing his expertise through various media platforms, including his well-regarded podcast and YouTube channel. His captivating style combines sharp wit with data-driven observations, making complex subjects accessible and engaging for a broad audience.
Scott is good at giving numbers but telling what they mean. For example, his breakdown of Mark Zuckerberg’s cutting of fact-checking potentially put about ten billion dollars in Mark’s pocket.
Just what the world needs is a place where people can post idiocy and not get corrected. One of my huge pet peeves is misinformation and what you do with it. People need to get facts and information and let it alter their viewpoints and opinions. Instead, people get their facts, which runs into their built-in bias, and the immediate thought is, “These facts are wrong.”
Scott spoke a few days ago on CNN
Scott also had a really good take when discussing Mark’s comments on Joe Rogan that Facebook needs more masculinity in the company.
Lastly….
If you need a good laugh about getting kicked out of pre-school. This will be done by the Kelce brothers.
Wishing you all a fantastic Wednesday!
