One of the guys whose commentary and snark is Scott Galloway. He’s usually on quite a few podcasts. Scott had a good quote from the show he does with Kara Swisher

All we’ve done here (with the tarrifs) is massively erode brand America. It’s gone from freedom, generosity, military might, prosperity, risk aggressiveness, opportunity, rule of law….to toxic uncertainty.

Last Few Thoughts….

We live in interesting times. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a President who lies so casually all the time and when caught in the lie just doubles down on it even further. Some of the items that he says just don’t make any sense at all. For example, he said this week to reporters in the Oval Office that the price of eggs has dropped 93-94%. Does he realize what that means? Is anyone paying $.50 for eggs? No.

It’s just so absolutely unnecessary to lie so easily about this. There is a great app called ‘InflataCart’ that measures prices on the National Average in various food groups.

My Cubs did an excellent job sweeping the Dodgers. Damn they’re playing some good baseball with a tough opening schedule.
