I’m back. I’ll be more regular. Enough toilet humor. I had taken a break from blogging for a while. A lot going on in the world and I’d do my usual put together a blog post, review it, and decide not to post it. Some good social media pals telling me I should just post it anyway as it doesn’t matter the content.
I’m not even sure where to start with Putin. Lots of reports circulation of his self-isolation because of Covid-19 affecting his mental faculties. Forcing him to research things on his own and draw his own conclusions which many believe were wildly outlandish.
Breaking news is that we are sending $350 million dollars worth of military assets to Ukraine. Uhhh…here’s a thought. How are you going to get it to them? Russia’s sending in huge assets to take the capital city and I think it’s just a matter of time. Sadly. The Ukrainian people will be remembered for the fight they put up as Putin thought this would be over rather fast. Instead, Putin has had to recalculate his strategy here. A good breakdown of it from Lawrence Freedman (Professor of War Studies) can be found here.
People have been asking for the EU, Canada, and the USA to act on Russia’s swift payments. Well, it looks like we got that wish today.
It looks like Phil Mickelson is really losing a lot. From being the PGA Champion to now losing multiple sponsorships and trying to play the PGA Tour vs Saudi on one another. As you look at the gif below notice all the sponsors he’s lost – KPMG, Callaway, Workday. The only thing missing is the Amstel light that also dropped him.
I’m a bit late in my posting for today as we’re about to have our good friends Scott & Julie over for dinner. It should be an excellent time as I always enjoy each time we hang out.
Have a good Saturday night everyone!
Tulsi. Tulsi. Tulsi. You were a champion of Putin. You don’t get to backtrack now. Now you get to own it.
