How’s everyone doing this Saturday morning? It seemed like a good morning for some Counting Crows. Let’s get into a few subjects, shall we?

We played Trivia Night at our local golf course, which was fun. Decent time. We were leading trivia the whole night. First place going into the final round. The final round was much like final jeopardy – you can bet whatever you’ve banked, but you’re unsure of the question that you’ll get asked. That made us hesitate so much so that we took the pedal off the metal and wagered zero. Our strategy? Nobody else will get this, and we’ll win by default. That works. Unless someone gets the question and has wagered enough. Well, folks – you got it right. That’s what happened. The question…..

What countries does the Andes Mountains run thru?

Answer: Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela.

I’m a bit skeptical of the team that won. Guys sitting at the bar, it’s hard to see if they’re pulling out their phones, etc. We didn’t deserve to win by taking our foot off the gas. It’s still a good time to catch up.

Moving on…..

Mike Baker is a retired expert CIA analyst. I’ve enjoyed his insights on Joe Rogan (he’s been on a few times). He usually breaks things down in a common-sense style. He brings up a few very valid questions he’d like to ask Kamala. His questions: Up until shortly after the debates, you had kept saying how sharp as a tack Biden was. How long did you notice he wasn’t functioning the way he should? Who was making decisions or helping with decisions? Essentially running the country.

Bill Maher does this show in his basement, kind of a podcast. He had Quinten Tarantino on, and below is a good excerpt on what Quinten thinks are the differences between MSNBC and Fox News.

Lastly….

Things have been a bit rough off and on with my labrador, Ted. Now we found out he potentially has a heart disease of some kind, but it will be confirmed after an echocardiogram this week. Argh! It’s always something.

We’re having all the family over tonight to celebrate Tommy’s master’s degree. What an accomplishment.
