Returning to Blogging

When returning to the realm of blogging, it’s akin to revisiting an old friend after an extended absence. The familiar thrill of weaving words, sharing thoughts, and engaging with a virtual audience can reignite a passion for storytelling and self-expression. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the opportunity to resurrect a dormant blog presents an avenue to rekindle connections, explore new niches, and rediscover the enchanting allure of the written word.

Porsche Taycan Turbo GT

The 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is the most powerful Taycan ever built, boasting 777 horsepower standard and 988 pound-feet of torque, with the ability to reach up to 1,019 hp with the new Attack Mode function. This high-performance electric vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds, or 2.1 seconds with the lightweight Weissach track package. With a top track speed of 180 mph, or 190 mph with the Weissach pack, the Turbo GT offers exceptional speed capabilities. The Weissach package enhances aerodynamic efficiency and weight savings, reducing the car’s weight by up to 157 pounds compared to the Turbo S model. Additionally, the Turbo GT features carbon-ceramic brakes, 21-inch forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, and a range of track-focused enhancements like Porsche’s Active Ride suspension and specific aerodynamic elements. The starting price for the 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is $231,995, making it a top-tier performance vehicle in Porsche’s lineup.

The Turbo GT is the most powerful Taycan the company has ever built—and if you count the 10 seconds of overboost, it’s also the most powerful Porsche ever. Period. Full stop. It has 777 horsepower standard and 988 pound-feet of torque, or up to 1,019 hp with the new Attack Mode function.

Much like push-to-pass available on other Taycan models, Attack Mode offers an extra jolt of power for 10-second increments. But while push-to-pass only adds an extra 70 kilowatts, Attack Mode sends up to 120 kilowatts to all four wheels. And now you can activate it simply by tugging on the right paddle shifter—although Porsche says Attack Mode is primarily for track use, wink wink.

The topic of infrastructure for electric vehicle (EV) cars is indeed a subject of much discussion. One commonly cited point is the perceived lack of infrastructure compared to the extensive network that has been built up over a century to support gasoline-powered vehicles. However, it’s important to note that the landscape is rapidly evolving.

One significant advantage of EV ownership is the ability to conveniently charge the vehicle at home. With the installation of a 220v station, it’s possible to have a type-2 fast charger for efficient charging. Additionally, government incentives for EVs have spurred the proliferation of charging stations across cities. This has led to the increasing availability of type-2 and type-3 ultra-fast chargers, which can be found in various locations throughout urban areas.

This trend reflects a concerted effort to expand the infrastructure necessary to support the growing number of EVs on the road. As technology continues to advance and consumer demand for electric vehicles rises, we can expect to see further developments in the EV infrastructure landscape.

Some Golf….Fore

NBC is bringing back their original hosts for just this tournament. The mainstays will get another chance to re-kindle the spark that made their broadcasts so good. With their ‘Better than most’ comment as Tiger drains the put on the 17th of Sawgrass.

Possibly one of the best interviews for his honesty came from Scottie Scheffler when talking about the brokenness and division in golf today. His honest take was ,”Look no further than the guys that left.” He has a valid point.

Have a good Wednesday everyone!
