A Weekend Full of Friends, Golf, and Heartwarming Tributes

Let us start this Tuesday off with some Bruce Springsteen. ‘I’m on Fire’ it is. Decent music video if you’ve never seen it. It’s a good, typical ’80s music video with a woman walking into a car garage, and love is in the air. HaHa.

The weekend was packed with quite a few good friends. Saturday night with friends Eric and Nicole and my wife’s awesome cooking with some cards to Sunday meeting up with some pals for some much-needed golf practice. Then, the culmination was the evening dinner with friends Mark and Marcia at Butcher Shop.

I’m trying to figure out which subjects to cover and move past.

The ninth iteration of The Match was already running a little long. Then, after Rose Zhang poured in a short birdie putt to tie Max Homa on the 12th and final hole of the evening, it was about to run a little bit longer.

After that, though, all it took was one short wedge shot from Rory McIlroy, who locked up the skins game title by hitting one to two feet at The Park in West Palm’s par-5 18th.

Some of the best moments of it all. For me, it was a fun watch. I liked Max at the beginning saying,”Ya know. You guys could give me this putt. Kinda set the tone.”

Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart had a very heartwarming and touching tribute to his dog that he said goodbye to. RIP Dipper. What a good moment.

Lastly….

Bill Maher had a good conversation about Arnold. Why he likes him, and why he’s not much available anymore? That he’s a hard get.

It appears Conan just had more pull…..
