Good morning! It’s September 28th, and we’re ready to kick things off. Let’s dive into this blog post and see where the journey leads us. But first, DJ, how about setting the mood with some morning tunes?
Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge fan of golf. Not only playing it but the history and the etiquette of the game. I wake up at 4 am to watch the Ryder Cup and see the teams perform. Our Team USA just looks flat. Indeed, it is clear that Team Europe is playing exceptionally well. You can see their team chemistry on display. Something the Team USA group is lacking. I wanted to give a review of what you see from the European reporters from Sky Sports. It’s been interesting to get their takes on it.
The PGA of America enlisted an individual to energize the crowd by encouraging cheers, chants, and songs. While fan sing-alongs are more commonly associated with European audiences, the effort aimed to enhance the atmosphere. However, the initiative faced criticism when the hired individual led a chant of “Fuck You, Rory,” despite the presence of children in the crowd.
Mark Crossfield even had a post on Instagram discussing.
I’ll get back to the Ryder Cup, and what happened. We played decent and if it had been any previous Ryder Cup that effort would have been enough to gather some dominant points. But, this was different. Europe played extremely well to match it.
Lastly….
At least my Cubs have clinched home-field advantage for the Wild Card games, which could be a mixed blessing. On a positive note, Kyle Tucker is back. All Hail King Tuck!
