We live in really weird times. With yesterday’s news of Donald Trump’s shooting, that opinion is more solidified than ever. Violence to solve our political differences is never the answer. Never. Breaking news that it looks like it was some 20-year-old who was a registered Republican with, oddly enough, no social media presence. Okay, here’s a novel idea. Let’s not dive deep into conspiracy land and just wait for the facts to play out. It’s all too easy to find information that fits your political leanings and spread baked lies. In today’s world of instant information and social media, it’s essential to exercise caution and critical thinking. Taking the time to verify sources and cross-check information can help us avoid falling into the trap of misinformation. By promoting a culture of thoughtful analysis and fact-checking, we can contribute to a more informed and responsible discourse.
