This morning, I’m blogging from the Hospital waiting room. My wife is getting an endoscopy to see what might have been causing her stomach discomfort/pain the last few months. Ironically, it’s the same procedure my neighbor had done when he was coughing up blood. He had his the next day. But I guess her pain or symptoms weren’t bad enough, so you get put on the waiting list. I’m curious what the results will bring.
The Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire trailer is out. I’m cautiously optimistic. This one is starting to feel more like Ghostbusters II (Turd) rather than the more well toned first one.
I’ve noticed a direct cycle trend in our news. News used to be reported in just the facts on television. Then, families would read newspapers and read editorials on how to interpret those facts. Newspapers gained too much power, and the broadcast stations decided – why can’t we start giving our opinions as well? The beauty of that? You can fill lots of time, and it’s very cheap programming to have someone on the air who speaks their thoughts.
Fast forward to today. We have news organizations that just cater to how people think. Fringe elements. If you believe Kennedy is still alive. We have a new station for you. Faked the moon landing? We have that covered. We’ll even wrap it up in a bow tie and make it look all-American.
My favorite is the video from below. This woman on the OAN (One America News) tries to make us believe that football is a Biden deep state psy op.
How on earth did we reach this point? On a slightly interesting note. RFK Jr. says that the Trump team asked him if he’d be interested in being VP.
