I am trying to figure out what to blog about with this goal of trying to blog most days. It’s been interesting.

Streaming. Streaming. Streaming

I was in Barnes and Nobile yesterday, and a woman was looking at their vinyl records for sale. The clerk was helping her search for one. Then I heard her mention to the clerk that she prefers the higher sound quality of vinyl. This piqued my interest, and I took the bait. Explaining that vinyl is only suitable for nostalgia and album artwork. The feeling that you’re collecting something. The making of the album you can actually get better details and far more thorough on the web.

CDs or Streaming music (Apple Music/Spotify) reproduce the same music every time. You play it at 5 am and at 5 pm it sounds the same. Vinyl record players it can be different and also different over time. Just move on to the streaming music platforms. Just spend the $5 a month or $10 for a family package and be done with it. Every album you ever want to listen to. Playlists and “radio stations” galore based on the music you like.

Moving on….

I enjoy the ‘Don’t Destroy Videos’ that they put together. Always fun. I found this one from months ago and you can see why these ‘Don’t Destroy’ videos are perhaps their SNL’s greatest asset.

IOS 17.2

For those that have not updated their phones iOS 17.2 is out and ready for your consumption. Among the features are a bunch of bug fixes a new journal app for your mental sanity.

MKBHD runs its yearly tests on all the top phones and ranks them accordingly. I always wait for his year results—best camera – iPhone 15 Pro Max.
